Help with a skirt...

Hi all
I'm looking for a skirt pattern that has a two piece waistband. The front waistband is straight. The back waistband has elastic. The skirt back also has a zipper. Does anyone know of a current pattern with this skirt? I had one years ago and loved it because (of course) it was forgiving at the waistline. Uhhh..yeah...I'm in that season again! Lol!!

A new top completed. . .

I used the leftover pleather from my altered Vogue 1317 to make this top from a vintage patter.

A new Tee

I know - I know - a tee isn't that exciting. However I have not been successful in sewing a tee shirt - I have problems with fit and the neckband. So here is my success. StyleArc Pleated Pia top.

A very welcome addition to my wardrobe.

Remake of Altered Vogue 1317

I spotted this dress and knew I wanted it (with a couple of alterations to add my own style to it); so I took my modified V1317 pattern to make it:

My attempt at Vogue 1314 wasn’t what I  expected, so I had to find a way to recover, I altered the pattern:

A Little White Skirt

Just a simple sewing job - a simple white stretch twill skirt for summer.  More details here:

Sarah Liz

Needed some aztec print in my wardrobe for fall

Couldn't wait to get McCall's 6844 made up

So I searched around to find an aztec print knit.  It's made of a nice pontederoma - one of my favorite fabrics because it's soft and so easy to work with. Here's my rendition of the pattern which I think turned out pretty nice.
Here I've  paired with a black MimiG pencil skirt made last Fall.

I also wanted to make a pencil skirt from the same fabric that I do not plan on wearing with the jacket, but think both pieces make wonderful additions to my Fall Wardrobe.
Aztec print pencil - another one from the MimiG's tutorial.  How easy does it get!
I'll be able to come up with several different combinations using the two pieces separately - which in my book is a winning situation...
